I was born and raised in Fort Worth.  I am a graduate of Southwest High  School.  I received my  undergraduate and law degrees from Texas Tech University. I have lived in Arlington since my first year in the District Attorney’s  Office.  Both of my daughters are  Martin High School graduates. I have been an active member of St. John the  Apostle United Methodist Church in Arlington for many years. Growing up, I was a member of University Christian Church in Fort Worth. I was a member of Troop 50 in Fort Worth for many years, and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1970.

  • A founding partner of Ball, Hase & Wisch, which in 1995 became Ball & Hase.
  • Since 1990, the chairman of the Texas Supreme Court’s Fort Worth Subcommittee of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee.
  • Past President of the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (1999).
